PRODUCT GUIDE · EARLY ACCESS

Keep every vendor engagement in view.

Vendor project management connects a supplier to each piece of work they perform. Vendo’s local prototype gives projects and recurring services separate owners, budgets, tasks and invoice/payment balances under one vendor record.

Can one vendor manage several projects?

Yes. A design agency might handle a website redesign, monthly maintenance and paid advertising. Store the agency once, then create a project or recurring service for each engagement. This makes responsibility and cost visible without creating duplicate vendors.

How do budgets differ from invoice costs?

A budget describes planned spending. Invoiced cost is the total of reviewed invoices assigned to the project. Paid amount comes from reviewed receipt allocations. Keep these figures separate: adding the budget to invoices would count different measures as if they were one cost.

What happens when a service stops?

Mark the engagement Completed or Inactive to retain its history. Vendor records can also be Active, Inactive or Historical. The prototype preserves project and payment references rather than deleting history when work ends.

What is available now?

The local prototype supports vendor/project entry, edits, tasks, review records and downloadable calendar reminders. Contract files, live integration health, hosted team accounts and scheduled email notifications are not connected. Unknown terms stay unknown until someone verifies and records them.
