Vendo’s planned Agentic AI will help find selected vendor emails, extract candidate invoice details and suggest receipt matches. A person will review the source and approve financial allocations. These AI agents and the Gmail connection are not live.
What would the AI agents do?
- Find relevant documents. Collect messages from explicitly selected vendor senders or billing labels after authorized Google connection.
- Prepare a suggestion. Identify the vendor, invoice number, amount, currency, dates and possible project, with a source reference.
- Propose a match. Compare receipt evidence with an invoice and highlight missing or conflicting information.
- Hand the decision to a reviewer. Keep uncertain candidates pending until a person resolves them.
What does “Agentic AI” mean for Vendo?
It describes the planned coordination of multiple steps toward a vendor-operations task: finding a document, interpreting it, matching it and requesting approval. It does not mean unrestricted mailbox access, autonomous payments or permission to treat an AI answer as verified financial evidence.
Will AI automatically mark invoices paid?
No such workflow is enabled. The current local prototype requires review and explicit receipt allocation. The planned design keeps this human checkpoint. AI extraction, duplicate detection and suggested matching must be evaluated before live use.
Will Vendo read every email?
The planned importer will process selected vendor senders or labels. Gmail read authorization itself is broader than those filters; sender and label restrictions are application rules, not narrower Google permissions. Exact mailbox scope, authorized senders and retention must be agreed before a live connection.
What works today?
Manual vendor/project entry and reviewed invoice/receipt allocation work in the local prototype. The public website contains a fictional simulation. No model is processing your emails here, and no automatic import, scheduled agent or document upload runs from this marketing site.
